Application and Approval

If you believe that you or your organization has a request that fits within our open programs guidelines, we suggest that you write to us and describe yourself or your organization, the project you have in mind and the amount of support you will need from us. Please, no longer than 2 double spaced pages. We respond in writing to all preliminary inquiries. In cases that warrant further consideration, we may ask you to furnish a full proposal, and financial information.

Faxed requests will not be considered.

A member of the Board generally reviews grant proposals. Those that meet the criteria for consideration proceed to the appropriate committee for review, and finally to the full Board of Directors. The grant review process takes between three to six months to complete. All decisions will be given in writing.
