Elliott Foundation?

The founders named the organization Elliott Endowment. It operates as a private family organization. The Elliott family is very involved with its other charitable foundations. Elliott Endowment has a specific purpose and the name helps to define that purpose.

Why do your grants generally go to only Arizona based organizations?

The founders believe strongly in “giving back” to the local community. They live, work, and play in Arizona. The state has been very good for the family business operations. It’s all part of being a good member of the community that has been so good to the Elliott family.

Why do you give religious educational grants?

Our founder’s believe that a belief in a higher power is an important part of a citizen’s life. The Endowment has developed a special interest in the role and purpose of religion in America, and strives to create opportunities for individuals and organizations to learn more about the power of faith. Persons of faith, whatever that faith may be, help to build strong, healthy, vibrant communities.
